Overview
The SCORE
Program provides before and
after school care for
Center/Sylvester School students
in Kindergarten through fourth
grade. In addition, the
Kindergarten SCORE Program is a
care option for kindergarten
students during the hours
students are not in the
classroom.
The SCORE Program is committed
to providing children with
enriching activities in a safe
and nurturing environment.
Through a balanced mix of
creative and recreational
activities, staff members work
to provide a positive experience
for both students and parents.
The SCORE Program follows the
Hanover Public Schools calendar and
observes the same holidays,
vacations and closings as
Center/Sylvester School.
Registration for the SCORE
Program occurs in May. Current
SCORE families are given the
opportunity to reserve their
current slot in the program
first. After that time, all
students in the school are
distributed a notice announcing
registration. The notice will
indicate the registration
deadline, the date of the
lottery for open slots and the
date for notification of
enrollment or placement on the
waiting list. Families will be
allotted a slot in the program
or placed on the waiting list
based on the order in which they
were chosen during the lottery
process. Please note, families
of incoming kindergarten
students will receive
notification of registration
dates during the kindergarten
registration process.
