Hanover Public School has curriculum in the core content area that reflect the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Frameworks. The Frameworks articulate a vision of teaching and learning in each discipline as well as content learning standards that outline the specifics of what Massachusetts’ students are expected to know and be able to do at the various levels of their schooling. Core materials and resources are carefully selected to compliment curriculum implementation and assessment. Professional development includes a variety of activities including the important component of in-service time, which provides for professional growth of the staff in curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation and instructional improvement.
