Transportation
The goal of transportation is to provide
safe, consistent transportation for our
special needs students to and from school.
Bus transportation is a special service that
may be included in a child’s IEP.
Snacks
Each day the children have a snack time. The
school provides snack choices that are nut
free.
Tuition Paying Students
The Center/Sylvester Integrated Preschool is
an integrated preschool program where
children with differing abilities and
disabilities play and learn together in the
some classroom. The program is designed to
serve both special needs and typically
developing preschoolers who are three to
five years old (not eligible age for
kindergarten). These students are screened
in the spring of the prior school year and
are chosen on a lottery basis.

Therapy Schedule
To limit the number of transitions and
maximize time in the classroom, students
receive their therapies at the beginning or
the end of their school day. Therapists are
an integral part of the preschool program.
They provide in-class instruction as well as
direct therapy. A collaborative approach to
planning is used to individualize student
learning. |
