| The Center/Sylvester Elementary School
PTA is an organization of Center/Sylvester
School families working together to provide
additional enrichment and social activities
for students and their families. The
Center/Sylvester PTA helps raise money for
projects within Center/Sylvester School
beyond what is funded through the school
budget. In the past few years, fund-raising
initiatives have supported playground
improvements, technology advancements,
special events, classroom resources and
enrichment programs. The Center/Sylvester
PTA is here for you and your family. If you
have any suggestions, questions, problems or
comments please feel free to contact us at
anytime. We are looking forward to an
exciting new year and creating the best
environment within our schools for our
children!

| Please stop by and check out the "trees"
growing in the hallways of Center and
Sylvester Schools. If you look closely you
will see that each leaf is really a request.
These requests are "wish list" items of our
schools' classroom teachers, specialists and
staff. If you would like to donate,
please take a leaf, purchase the item and
deliver it to either school's office. Please
do not give it directly to any staff member
as every item, no matter how small, needs to
be documented so that the school committee
can record and approve of all donations.
This is a great way to show your
gratitude for that classroom teacher that
has given just that little bit of extra
attention to your child, the specialist who
nurtures your child's creative side, or the
special educator that assists your child
with their special areas of need. We have
such a wonderful group of caring and
dedicated staff at both schools that it's
only understandable that we want to show our
gratitude. We hope this will be a fun and
exciting way of expressing our appreciation
to the people who nurture our children. |
