  What is the HPTA?
Hanover Parent-Teacher Alliance, Inc.The Hanover Parent Teacher Alliance (HPTA) raises money to help fund academic enrichment programs such as “Earth Dome”, “Percussion Ensemble”, “Mr. Magnet” and storyteller Tom McCabe and illustrator Jeannie Brett, as well as provide school grants (for non-budgeted items) and so much more! The HPTA provides aid across the board to all grades. We continue to fund Hanover High School Scholarships. We also provide funding for the year-end High School Academic Awards Dinner and Safe Grad Night.

How do I become a member?

You can become a member of the HPTA with a contribution of $15. Your contribution will give you membership in the HPTA along with a nylon Hanover cinch sac.

As a member of the HPTA, you will be invited to attend our six meetings held at the Hanover High School Library. You will be an active participant in the decision making process on fundraising initiatives and expenditures. The meetings are attended by parents, teachers, and administrators and offer an excellent exchange of information and ideas. In the past we have also invited guest speakers to discuss pressing issues and current events. We also discuss and form subcommittees to work on upcoming HPTA sponsored events. There are many ways you can help out if you are unable to attend the meetings.

To join the HPTA and help support and enrich your child’s education, you can download the application, fill it out and return to your child’s school along with your check made payable to the HPTA. You may purchase membership separately for $10 or the MEMBERSHIP AND THE CINCH SAC together for $15. ADDITIONAL CINCH SACS MAY BE PURCHASED FOR $10 EACH FOR MEMBERS ONLY. Please return form and payment to school with your child. You may also join at your child’s school’s Open House in the fall. CINCH SACS will be sent home with your child in school throughout September/October.
