Calling all Friends of Education!

Chase away the winter blues at the Hanover Education Foundation’s Spring Fling benefit on March 1, 2008 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Pembroke from 6:30-11:00 PM. Proceeds will fund grants for enrichment of the educational programs of the Hanover Public Schools.
This exciting event includes delicious food prepared by the Outback Steakhouse, musical entertainment by the outstanding HHS Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Paul Ketchen, comedians Chrissy Kelleher, John Garrison, and Andrea Henry, and raffles including a cash prize, all hosted by our very personable Master of Ceremonies, John Hopkins, head of the HHS English Dept. Silent auction items feature an autographed basketball by the entire Boston Celtics team, a piece of parquet flooring from the old Boston Garden autographed by Red Auerbach, a hockey puck autographed by the Bruins’ Tim Thomas, tickets to the Boston Celtics and Red Sox, a one year AAA membership, Spa treatments, a granite bench from Swensen’s Granite, an after work Pool Party at Jillian’s of Boston, museum and theater passes, and gift certificates to such restaurants as Rabia’s in the North End, Durgin Park, Wagamama’s in Fanueil Hall, Asian C, Fugiyama, and Bertucci’s.

Tickets, priced at only $20 each, may be purchased through the Hanover Schools or by calling Joan McVey at 781-878-2714. Please come and show your support of children and education.
