HFEE Golden Apple Awards Youth Art Contest
November 8, 2007

In celebration of American Education Week, the Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment invites middle school students to participate in its Youth Art Contest by creating a new design for its Golden Apple Award card.  The HFEE Golden Apple Recognition Program was initiated to provide an opportunity for students and parents to acknowledge a special teacher who has made a difference in their lives. Teachers are presented with a card recognizing them for their dedication in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. Golden Apple Awards make wonderful holiday teacher appreciation and end-of-year gifts. All proceeds are returned to the schools in the form of enrichment grants for the benefit of students throughout the system.

Entry details have gone home to all students at the Hanover Middle School and may also be found on the schools’ web site. The winning design will grace the cover for the 2008 Golden Apple Award card and be displayed at the Foundation’s Spring Fling Fundraiser at the Pembroke Knights of Columbus Hall on March 1, 2008. Entries must be submitted to the HMS office by 2:30 PM on Friday, January 4, 2008.
