The Hanover Foundation for
Educational Enrichment (HFEE)
recently voted to award $20,000 in
grants to the Hanover Schools. Through
its competitive grants program, each
year we encourage teachers to submit
innovative proposals which are selected
for educational purposes to enrich the
academic experiences of all students.
Grants funded by the HFEE have
included an Author/Illustrator, math
library, Museum of Science Traveling
Exhibits,
Artist in Residence, and the Amazing
Hero Art Performance for the elementary
schools, a performance by Inca Son,
foreign language and cultures resources,
and a kiln for the Art Department for
the high school, and Math Olympiads, a
climbing wall, and physical science
equipment for the middle school.
The Foundation believes that a
commitment to a strong and vibrant
educational system benefits the entire
Hanover community - its residents,
businesses, and, most importantly, its
children. We strive to facilitate
projects like these every year, but we
cannot do this alone. The Foundation
will soon appeal for your help in its
annual mailing. In the past, we have
experienced tremendous support from
residents of all ages. Your continued
generosity demonstrates that you share
this belief. Your tax-deductible
donation in any amount may be made out
to the HFEE and mailed to P.O. Box 1144,
Hanover, MA 02339. Donations via
matching funds programs are gratefully
accepted.
Please join us at our Spring Fling
