Math and Reading Summer Resources

cartoon image of sun with smiley faceJust as exercise helps keep muscles in shape, practicing math and reading skills helps keep brains in shape. With summer quickly approaching, we want
to provide you with some optional reading and math resources that your child could use at home to strengthen knowledge and critical thinking skills for
the next school year.

In order to create options that motivate students as well as to maintain a strong home-school connection, we have also created a Summer Learning webpage that contains math and reading activities, apps, websites, and grade-specific book choices. We have added many engaging activities including a BINGO board that can be printed out or used interactively. These activities will provide you with a balance of reading and math hands-on activities as well as digital choices. Please note that Lexia and iReady are available to use until mid-August. They are research-based programs that support and strengthen your child’s skills. Feel free to attach any additional completed activities to your child's calendar.

Have a wonderful summer and thank you for your support!
