Center School Summer News 7/19/22

I hope that you are all doing well and enjoying some glorious summer days! We are not trying to rush the summer days away but thought this would be a good time to send along some information that you may find helpful when you do begin to plan for the next school year. For now, stay cool, read, and enjoy the long summer days!

School Supplies

School supply ads are already popping up! If you are a bargain shopper and want to gather some items for class here is the list of school supplies that teachers compiled.  These are optional and all necessary items will be provided in each classroom (also attached).

Summer Reading and Math

A shout-out to our students! Don't forget to keep up with your reading and math this summer. A little practice goes a long way to being ready for school in September! Grab a good book and read~read~read! Enjoy lots of summer fun and we will see you in September! Important Dates

• Monday, August 15^th - Placements posted in the family portal
• Wednesday, August 31^st - Visiting day for students (times and details will be emailed in a few weeks)
• Tuesday, September 6^th - First day of school for students (full day of school)
• Monday, September 12^th - Picture Day, Grades 2-4
• Thursday, September 22^nd - Curriculum night (parents only)
