Elementary Parent Information Nights

This is a very exciting and anxious time of year as we plan for the merge of schools next September.  PK-K-1 will be housed at Cedar School and Grades 2-4 will be housed at Center School.  Communication and opportunity for you and your child to visit and become familiar with your school for next year is key.  We hope that sharing some information will address many questions and that visits for both you and your child between now and the start of school will reduce any stress you may have about the changes.  Mrs. DeGrenier and Mr. Oates have planned information nights for parents and school visits for students to help everyone prepare for next year.  At the end of the summer we will open up the schools for students to come in and see their classroom and visit the school prior to the first day.  To help you plan, we have outlined all of the dates below.  For anyone who is unable to attend the parent night, information will be posted on this website. You may also obtain a copy from the main office of each school.

Parent Information Nights

Each parent information night will be followed by time to tour the school building. These evenings are planned for parents only.

  • Incoming Grade 1 (current K) - Tuesday, May 28, Cedar Cafeteria, 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Incoming Grade 2 (current Grade 1) - Monday, May 20, Center Auditorium, 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Incoming Grade 3 (current grade 2) - Wednesday, May 29, Center Auditorium, 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Incoming Grade 4 (current grade 3) - Wednesday, May 29, Center Auditorium, 6:30-7:30 PM

Student Visits

Students will have time to visit their school building for next year on one of the following dates.

  • Current Grade K - Monday, June 3, at Cedar School, 8:45-9:45 AM
  • Current Grade 1 - Monday, June 3, at Center School, 1:00-2:30 PM
  • Current Grade 2 - Friday, May 31, at Center School, 1:00-2:30 PM
  • Current Grade 3 - Friday, May 31, at Center School, 8:45-10:15 AM
  • Current Grade 4 (Center) - Thursday, May 30 at HMS, 8:45-10:15 AM
  • Current Grade 4 (Cedar) - Friday, May 31, at HMS, 8:45-10:15 AM

Summer Visiting Days

These visits are planned in place of the open house typically held the day before the first day of school.

  • Kindergarten - Thursday, August 29, 9:00-12:00 PM at Cedar (time assigned by class)      
  • Grade 1 - Thursday, August 29th, 1:00-2:30 PM at Cedar
  • Grade 2-4 - Monday, August 26, 2019 at Center
  • Grade 2, 9:00-10:00 AM
  • Grade 3, 10:30-11:30 AM
  • Grade 4, 12:00-1:00 PM
  • Grade 2-4, 5:00-6:00 PM
