Pi Day Challenge 2019

Are you ready to accept the Pi Day Challenge?

As you may know, March 14 is known as Pi Day because the date 3/14 is similar to the number 3.1415962... which commonly occurs in the world around us.

To celebrate, the Hanover Pi Day Team (myself and a group of HHS teachers who are math and puzzle enthusiasts) have launched the website: pidaychallenge.com.  The Pi Day Challenge is a series of puzzles - some are math, some are logic, others are who-knows-what?!  The website is free but you must create an account to save your progress.

The Pi Day Challenge is celebrating 11 years on the Internet!  What was once a classroom-based set of math puzzles and brain-teasers, has now reached over 100,000 students in over 100 countries.

Login and try a few.  You might like the sense of accomplishment achieved by solving a few puzzles.  And maybe this is the year you can earn the title of "Pi Day Genius" and see your name and world-ranking on the genius board!

Good luck and have fun!
