World Mental Health Day is October 10, 2020

Hanover Heart

Saturday, October 10th is World Mental Health Day. World Mental Health Day is observed every year with the objective of raising awareness regarding mental health issues and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.  This year, World Mental Health Day is more significant than ever. Many people have been struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as other mental health conditions as a result of the pandemic. The uncertainty we are all experiencing every day as things continue to change has brought on even more stress.

Despite all of this, the resilience we have seen in our students, families, and staff have been nothing short of amazing and we know that we will get through this together. If you or someone you know is suffering, please know that you are not alone. We are here to help you and we encourage you to reach out if you need to talk or would like assistance in finding the appropriate resources. Some links to the information you might find useful are listed below.

Sincerely,

Dr. Susan Egan, Psy. D.
