Hanover Middle School News and Updates 8/14/22

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful summer. It is exciting to think that we will be back in school in just three weeks. Over the last month and a half, our middle school team has been preparing for the upcoming school year and it is time to share some important dates and information. Homeroom assignments will be available on the afternoon of Thursday, August 18^th via the Aspen Family Portal. The other important date that 5^th grade students and parents have been waiting for is the 5^th grade and new student orientation on Wednesday, August 31^st. Below you will find a list of upcoming important dates at HMS to help with family preparation and scheduling.  

Important Dates

• August 18^th - Homeroom placements will be available (Thursday afternoon).
• August 24^th - HMS Incoming 5^th Grade and New Student Parent Night, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
• August 31^st - Teacher's First Day of Professional Development.
• August 31^st - Grade 5 and New Student Orientation, 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
• September 1^st - Teacher's Second Day of Professional Development.
• September 6^th - 1^st Day of School, 7:30 am to 2:15 pm (Full Day).
• September 14^th - HMS Picture Day.
• September 19^th - 5^th and 6^th Grade Curriculum Night.
• September 20^th - 6^th and 7^th Grade Curriculum Night.
