Harvest Fest Update

Last Call - Volunteers Needed for Harvest Fest 2018 - Please sign up be Wednesday October 17, 2018

Harvest Fest will be held during the day on Friday October 26, 2018.  Many parent volunteers are needed to make this event a success. If you are interested in helping out volunteers are needed during the event from 12:00-2:15 PM and after school to help with the 5th/6th grade Harvest Jam from 2:15-4:30 PM. Right now we are most in need of 6-8 additional bakers to prepare baked goods for sale during the event. 

Harvest Fest is a great annual tradition! Students wear costumes to school and enjoy teacher sponsored games and activities for a nominal fee. Baked goods and pizza will be sold in the cafeteria and all proceeds benefit the Hanover VNA.

If you are able to volunteer or bake please sign up at www.hanoverpta.org by selecting the Volunteer Tab and choosing Harvest Fest.  As a reminder all parent volunteers must have a current CORI on file in the office. If your CORI has expired or you have not been CORI'd before, please stop into the office ASAP so you can help at Harvest Fest and other HMS events. Volunteer sign ups will close on Wednesday October 17, 2018. 

Also, we are now collecting donations for items for the Haunted Locker Room. If anyone has any of the following items they would like to contribute please bring to the main office labeled for Suzanne Clasby. Items needed include dark robes, capes, masks, blow ups, old dolls, flashlights, strobes and string lights will help make our Haunted Locker Room better than before. 

Also a reminder, the Haunted Locker Room will be open after school from 4:30-6:30 PM on Friday October 26, 2018 for anyone to visit. Admission is $5.00 and all proceeds will go toward the scholarship fund for the 8th Grade Washington DC trip. This event is PG and not intended for young children.
