Hanover High School Car Parade+ 5/27/20
I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the week!
I’ve been hearing only genuine, heartfelt reactions to the messages and the portraits perched on the embankment in front of the high school. That’s nice. Thank you!
Yesterday, the “senior exchange” day went flawlessly. Thank you to all the seniors for arriving on time, for wearing masks, and for returning your materials so efficiently. I also wanted to thank the MANY staff and faculty who came out to assist with the “exchange” – much appreciated! We’ll do something similar with cap-and-gown distribution and grades 9-11 exchange days. It’s a solid system.
I see that many people are celebrating seniors this week as well. I want to thank the School Committee, the other sponsors, and volunteers for your time and efforts in recognizing members of the Class of 2020. Thank you!
This Friday is our town-wide car parade. We finalized the route yesterday, and we’ve established some policies, procedures, and guidelines for the event. I’ll be elaborating on some parade points prior to this Friday, but the attached document will give you a general idea of the route and the parade expectations.
That’s it for now. Be well. Be safe.
