Center School Update 11/12/25
I am writing to you to let you know that during a PE class at the end of the school day, one of our students had a medical emergency. Our staff and our students responded perfectly in their response to an emergency. An ambulance was called and the student was transported to the hospital. The timing of the emergency was just prior to our dismissal today, and we appreciate the cooperation of the car pick-up line in helping to keep the area clear for our emergency responders.
We know that when there is an emergency situation in school, it can impact many students who may have been close to the incident or just heard the announcements and adjustments to the end of the day. Please reassure your child that they did their job by following the direction of their teacher when needed. Please also reassure them that the student is going to be OK and received the best care from our teachers, our nurse, administrators, and now with their doctors. I could not be prouder of how quickly and with such care that our staff responded in an emergency situation.
If you have any questions or if your child needs support in response to today's events, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher and let them know. We're a community that supports one another and want all of our students to feel safe emotionally and physically at school at all times.
Best,
Mrs. DeGrenier
Principal
