Graduation Update 2026

As discussed already with members of the Class of 2026, HHS is excited to announce a change in how we will recognize students' future plans.

Graduation is a time to honor each student's journey, their experiences, the completion of academic requirements, and the achievement of earning a Hanover High School diploma.  To keep the focus of graduation on celebrating the Class of 2026 collectively, we will no longer include the reading of individual future plans during the graduation ceremony itself. A collective list of students' future plans will, however, be included in the printed graduation program.

Instead, the students' future plans, whether attending college, joining the military, entering the workforce, or pursuing another path, will be read aloud during the Scholarships and Awards Night Ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to work to create a graduation ceremony that highlights the unity and accomplishments of the entire Senior class, while still honoring each student's next steps during Senior Week.  As always, we look forward to celebrating these milestones with all of our students and families.
