Cedar School 2023 DESE Report Card 2/26/24

Each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card annually. Just as your child’s report card demonstrates their performance, the school’s report card is designed to demonstrate how our school is performing in a variety of different areas. You may view Cedar School's Report Card at 2023 DESE School District Report Cards.

The report card includes multiple measures of a school’s performance. It represents a new way of looking at school performance by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities, and more.

Report cards are designed to be valuable tools for everyone connected to our school. Families can use the information to have meaningful conversations with stakeholders concerning areas where the school is performing well and areas where we can continue to improve. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.

At the opening of each Cedar Connection, we share our story with the community. These powerful connections showcase what makes our school such a special place to work and learn. Furthermore, we invite and encourage parents/guardians to connect with us and become involved in helping us improve and celebrate Cedar School. Some of the ways that you can become involved are the following:

  • Encourage learning at home with your child
  • Attend teacher conferences and other special meetings
  • Communicate with your child’s teacher or staff at Cedar School
  • Attend school events with your child
  • Serve as a volunteer at Cedar School
  • Encourage other families to become involved
