Cedar School DESE 2022 School Report Card 2/27/23

Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your children’s report cards show how they are performing, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is performing in different areas. View Cedar School Report Card.

The report card includes multiple measures of a school’s performance. It represents a new way of looking at school performance by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities, and more.

Report cards are designed to be valuable tools for everyone connected to our school. Families can use the information to have meaningful conversations with us concerning areas where the school is performing well and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.

At the opening of each Cedar Connection, we invite and encourage parents/guardians to connect with us and encourage them to become involved in helping us improve and celebrate Cedar School. Some of the ways you can become involved are:

  • Encourage learning at home with your child
  • Attend parent-teacher meetings and other special meetings
  • Communicate with your child’s teacher and/or staff at Cedar
  • Attend school events with your child
  • Serve as a volunteer at Cedar
  • Encourage other parents to become involved
