This section of the message is intended to share our story at Cedar. We invite parents, guardians, and caregivers to share their stories too, by communicating with us and one another.
The fourth annual Snowball Slam was a monumental success. Collectively, Cedar students were able to read over 1,000 books! What a wonderful testament to the adults who supported this initiative at home and the teachers who provided encouragement to our young learners.
Kindergarten and First Grade report cards will be posted on the Aspen Portal at the end of the day today. If you need support with your login information at the end of the week, please call the Cedar main office at 781-878-7228.
Next week is a busy week at Cedar. I have included several reminders below about upcoming events and information happening in the building.
Important Cedar Information
This is a reminder that we have an early release next week on both Tuesday and Thursday. Please see the upcoming dates/events at Cedar for information about dismissal times.
Cedar will be hosting the Spring Scholastic Book Fair from March 27th to March 30th. During their literacy block, students will have the opportunity to browse and create a wish list of books to bring home for parents to peruse. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books during their conference times that week, as well as the designated times listed below. If you do not have an opportunity to stop into the library during the listed times, please know that you can purchase books online next week. The link for the Scholastic website is listed below and will become active on Monday afternoon.

During the spring Parent Conferences, Mrs. Russo will be displaying student artwork for parents to enjoy. The artwork will be set up outside of the student’s designated classroom. Each student will have one piece of artwork on display. Please consider taking a moment to locate your child’s artwork on display before or after your parent-teacher conference.
