Cedar School Parent/Guardian Preschool and Kindergarten Input Form 4/10/23
Cedar School will begin assigning students to an appropriate class for next year over the next few weeks. The Cedar School staff will be spending a significant amount of time and effort on this placement process. We will consider many factors during this process, including academic performance, student behavior, relationship skills, student learning styles, and parent/guardian input. Careful consideration will be given to each student’s individual needs. This process will include our classroom teachers, specialists, special education staff, and building administrators.
There is a parent input form for you to complete that is linked below. Completing this form is optional; however, please know that your input is greatly appreciated. In addition to using the information for placement, it will also be shared with next year’s classroom teacher. Please know that we will carefully place each student with or without the completion of this form.
It is important to know that we will not consider the following requests:
- Request for a specific classroom teacher
- Request NOT to have a specific classroom teacher
The deadline to complete the online form is Friday, April 21, 2023.
