Cedar School Winter Benchmark Reports 2/16/23

The purpose of this message is to inform you that the winter assessment reports for DIBELS 8 (kindergarten and first grade) and Math i-Ready (first grade) are now available in the Aspen Family Portal. 

The Math i-Ready assessment is a comprehensive assessment and instructional program that is used to evaluate students’ knowledge and skills in mathematics. This adaptive diagnostic assessment is administered online three times a year and provides actionable data to inform teachers’ instruction and provide students with personalized learning plans. 

DIBELS 8 is an assessment tool that measures students' early literacy skills. It is administered three times a year and provides teachers with data to drive student instruction. We have provided a link that includes Frequently Asked Questions about DIBELS 8. 

Please know that these assessments are only a single data point to help evaluate student performance. 

In order to access this information, please log in to Aspen Family Portal. When you get to the homepage, you will notice a PDF document for DIBELS 8 and a PDF document for Math i-Ready. These will be located under the heading, “published reports.” If you have difficulty accessing the reports, please contact your child’s classroom teacher or the main office at 781-878-7228.
