Cedar School News and Updates 6/1/26

June is here, and it’s hard to believe the end of the school year is fast approaching! We are so proud of our Cedar Superfriends and the growth they have shown throughout the year.

A reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2^nd, is an early release day for Kindergarten and grade 1. Dismissal begins at 12:45 pm. Preschool will follow its regular schedule.

Field Day is happening on June 12^th, and we are looking for volunteers. Sign up to volunteer for Kindergarten and grade 1. Sign up as a volunteer for Preschool. 

A big thank you to Busy Bee Jumpers for donating the inflatables for Field Day. 

Wednesday, June 3^rd, HYAA Cheerleading is having a Dine for Dollars fundraiser. 

We appreciate all of your support and look forward to many fun activities and celebrations ahead as we wrap up the school year!  They are listed below. 

• June 9^th - “Hooray Day” for Grade 1. This is a special day for our grade 1 students and staff. 
• June 12^th - Field Day.
• June 16^th - Grade 1 Celebration! More information will be shared with grade 1 families.
• June 17^th - Kindergarten picnics! Classroom teachers will let families know what time their class picnic will be.
• June 18^th - Preschool graduation! More information will be shared directly from your child’s preschool teacher.
• June 22^nd - Last day of Preschool.
• June 23^rd - Last day for Kindergarten and grade 1. Dismissal begins at 11:45 am. No lunch is served.
