Center School Arrival and Dismissal Information 9/4/23

We are looking forward to the first day of school. Here are a few notes to help with a smooth arrival and dismissal as we begin the new school year.

Reminder: Tuesday, September 5^th is a full day of school.

School Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2:55 pm.  

• Drop-off is open from 8:15-8:30 am.  
• Those arriving after 8:30 am should check in at the main office.
• Pick-up is from 2:55-3:10 pm.
• Those arriving after 3:10 pm should go to the main office to dismiss your child. Please call the office if you know you will be late so we can communicate that message with your child. Thank you!

Early Release Day Hours

Early days are noted on the school calendar and are from 8:30 am to 12:55 pm.

• Drop-off is open from 8:15-8:30 am.  
• Those arriving after 8:30 am should check in at the main office.
• Pick-up is from 12:55-1:10 pm.
• Those arriving after 1:10 pm should go to the main office to dismiss your child. Please call the office if you know you will be late so we can communicate that message with your child. Thank you!

Bus Routes

Bus routes were sent via email. If you need assistance, please contact the main office at 781-826-2631. The weather looks sunny for Tuesday morning, which is always a help for the first day of school as drivers and families get familiar with the bus routes/times. Please be patient as the routes may take a little longer than usual as everyone says their goodbyes on day one! Thank you for your support.  

Car Drop-off 

• Enter from Silver Street into the second driveway (this is a one-way-only driveway); go along the back of the building, through the parking lot, and turn right so that the building is on your right.
• Pull up all the way to the first stanchion. This will allow us to unload several cars at once.
• Students should exit the car on the passenger side only.
• Drop-off is from 8:15 to 8:30 am.
• If you need more time for drop-off, please pull around to the front of the building, park, and walk your child to the main entrance.   

Car Pick-up

• Enter from Silver Street into the second driveway (this is a one-way-only driveway); go along the back of the building, through the parking lot, and turn right so that the building is on your right. Please double up on both sides of the back parking lot to alleviate traffic backing up on Silver Street.
• Pull up all the way to the first stanchion. This will allow us to load several cars at once.
• Students will enter the car on the passenger side only
• Pick-up is from 2:55 to 3:10 pm.
• We will be distributing car signs during the first week of school. Please have your child's name displayed to assist with afternoon pick-up.

Special Needs Vans

Special Needs Vans will drop off and pick up in the front of the building at the main entrance. Mr. Schreiber, Mrs. Israel, and support staff will assist students with arrival and dismissal.
