Center School Final Week of School 6/20/22

We are in the home stretch this week and want to thank you for all the support you have given during the year; the volunteers through the PTA for the school-wide events we were able to bring back this year; to our ART parent volunteers who displayed 1000’s of pieces of art for our art shows; the mystery readers; the bakers; the planners; the chaperones; the book fair organizers; the Snow Bowl crafters; and to the Fun Run volunteers. I am sure I am forgetting someone but please know that we are extremely grateful for all of the work that our parent community puts into the school year. We couldn’t hold the events for our students or support our teachers without you!

We wish you a safe and healthy summer!

Mrs. DeGrenier
Principal

Additional Information

Over the course of the next week, Hanover Day will begin to set up for their big event which takes place next weekend. The set-up is on the public fields that abut Center School. Please know we are working closely with police, fire, and the Hanover Day Committee to ensure that we maintain the safety of our school community while school is in session. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.

Thank you to Erik Johnson from the Hanover Fire Department who has been providing the SAFE (Student Awareness of Fire Education) to third graders during their Wellness classes. Some classes met on June 14th and 15th, with the remaining classes meeting on June 22nd. Some of the topics include fire safety awareness; stop-drop-and-roll; smoke alarms; and choosing a meeting spot. We appreciate the dedication of our fire department in their work to keep us safe throughout the year and to educate our students on the importance of fire safety.

Medications, inhalers, or other items in the health office need to be picked up by Thursday, June 23rd at noon. Please make arrangements with Mrs. Krall so that you retrieve these items before the health office closes for the summer.

Thank you!
