Center School Grade 4 Celebration Information and Schedule 5/20/23

It is that time of year when we come together to celebrate our fourth grade students. Our goal at the end of grade four is to have time when we can bring all of the fourth graders together at the end of the year for a shared experience and an opportunity to celebrate with friends and family. With 210 students in grade four plus their guests, this presents some logistical planning for this evening to get us all in one place to join the fourth graders as they share their songs, dances, memory projects, and joy of being an elementary student before they head off to middle school (notice with all the details attached).

We are looking forward to celebrating our fourth graders!

Rolling Car Parade

  • Grade 4 students only are invited to be dropped off between 8:45 am - 9:15 am by going through the car drop-off line.
  • This will be a rolling parade and students will get out at the end of the line near the bandstand where their teacher will be waiting.
  • Car decorating is optional but highly encouraged!

TIPS for the car parade

When you enter the back driveway off Silver Street, keep two lanes. You will merge into one line at the far end of the building.

We keep the car line moving and ask that you keep moving forward to the bandstand before letting your child out of the vehicle.

Please do not block traffic on Silver Street. If it gets backed up, pull into the church lot or main entrance lot and merge back into the line.

There will be Hanover Police Officers at the school to help.

Following the parade, students will enjoy a day of fun with their friends and teachers.

  • Memory Books will be distributed.
  • Cookout.
  • Rock project to leave their mark in the courtyard at Center School.
  • Video montage shared with all grade 4 friends.

All of the projects students are working on to celebrate the end of the year will be shared with parents and links will be sent out by Mrs. Monahan on June 9th!

Thank you,

Mrs. DeGrenier
