Center School Grade 4 Concert and Celebration Update 6/14/22

On Monday, June 13, 2022, fourth graders brought home their signature t-shirts to wear for the concert and two tickets for their guests to Thursday's concert, memories, and reception. If there are any issues with the t-shirt or tickets, we ask that you reach out on Tuesday or Wednesday so that we can help and you are ready for Thursday! We may need to swap some t-shirts for the correct sizes!

  • Following the concert, students will be sharing their memory projects with you in the reception area outside of the auditorium. Please take your child's items home with you at the end of the evening.
  • Students may be dropped off at Hanover High School at 5:40 pm and report directly to the gym for warm-ups with Mr. Lindsey. Please have students wear Khaki bottoms and their signature t-shirt top.
  • It is general seating in the auditorium and doors will open at 5:45 pm.

Watch Live

The concert will be aired live via Hanover Public Schools Facebook and Zoom:

Following the concert, links will be sent out with a recording of the concert and any student-created pieces shared on Thursday evening or on Friday. Mrs. Monahan has created links to all of the student projects so that you can enjoy them again and again! You should have everything in your ‘inbox’ by the end of the day on Friday!

I know there have been some questions or comments about the celebration and the two-guest limit. It was important to us to have a time that we could bring all of the fourth graders together at the end of the year in a shared experience, especially after the distancing of the past few years. With 186 students plus two guests, this puts us at capacity in the high school auditorium for this event. We have worked closely with the fire department to ensure that we are able to accommodate everyone and hope you will enjoy this evening with your child. Our hope is that we have captured some of the traditions shared by Center and Cedar Schools over the years in celebrating fourth graders as they move on to middle school.

We look forward to celebrating with you on Thursday and appreciate your ongoing support.

Best,

Mrs. DeGrenier
Principal
