Center School News 11/7/19

Thank you to all who donated to the food delivered to school the last two Fridays and for all of the support Center School has received over the past weeks.  It has been an emotional time and made a sad time for our staff much easier.  I have heard lots of feedback from the teachers about how caring our PTA and parent community has been these past few weeks and how much the support has meant to them.  From everyone at Center School, thank you!

We are looking forward to celebrating Veterans' Day tomorrow as a school. We want to thank you for your support in sending in pictures of family members who are Veterans to share with us.  There is a beautiful display in our inner lobby that the students pass by daily when they are traveling to specialist classes.  We will be leaving this display up through the month of November or longer and hope you will be able to stop by and take a look.  A special thank you to Mrs. Monahan for her work with this project and in bringing this display to life.  We have planned a short school wide assembly with our staff and students for Friday. We have not invited families to this event but will be sending you a link on Monday, 11/11/19 so that you can enjoy the ceremony and the work done by our students at home on Veterans' Day.  We hope that you will share this with other family members as well.

The weather has finally turned so we want to remind students to please come to school prepared to be outside for up to 25” a day.  Coats, hats, and gloves are a good idea to help keep kids warm as they get some fresh air and exercise.  Our goal is to get outside as much as possible.

Have a great evening,

Mrs. DeGrenier
Principal
