Center School News 12/20/19

I wish you joy this holiday season and all the best for a Happy New Year!

Snow Bowl was a lot of fun today and I am so appreciative of all of the parent volunteers that made the day run so smoothly!  The students had a blast in the relays, movie, collecting snow bucks, and many compliments to you about the fabulous crafts!  At the end of the day it was Mr. Lancaster's class that claimed the Snow Bowl trophy for 2019.  Congratulations to all for a fun, fun day!

We are pleased to have a new speech and language pathologist join our staff full time for the remainder of the school year.  Ms. Lafferty will begin with us on January  2, 2020 and be here five days a week.  We have scheduled times for the students who require these services and will send home a copy of the compensatory calendar for each student/parent impacted to review on January 3, 2020.  If there are questions, please follow-up with me and we can work together to figure out the best plan for your child.

A reminder that report cards were posted in the family portal on Wednesday, January 18, 2020, and IEP progress reports were mailed the same day.  If you have any questions regarding these items we are happy to follow-up with you  after the vacation week.

Center School will be closed for the winter break and the office will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2020.

Warm regards,
Jane DeGrenier
