Message from Mrs. Madden and Gianna  Lately, families have been spending a lot of time together.  Although many wonderful memories are being made, sharing space with the same people every day can sometimes be difficult and conflicts may arise.  This week our lesson is about how to resolve conflicts in a calm and respectful way.  All of the video lessons, along with several related activities, can be found on our remote learning website under the Social/Emotional tab (Weekly Lessons).

Grade Three Art Show is still running this week.  Please take a minute and tour the wonderful work of our third grade students.  Go to http://centerspecialistshomelearning.weebly.com/3rd-grade-art-exhibit.html

Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair is running from Monday May 11th- Sunday May 24th.  Online shopping only is available all day, everyday by going to https://www.scholastic.com/bf/centerelementaryschool22  All book only orders $25 and up have FREE shipping.  Book orders will ship directly to your home. Credit card payments only are accepted.

End of year activities are important to us and to our students.  As we plan for the last seven weeks of school we will be scheduling events by grade level and sharing dates and information with you.  It is our goal, in some small way, to bring smiles and closure to our students and let them know how much we miss them!

A special Thank you to Colleen Mulligan for planting our garden beds in the courtyard.  This will bring great joy and hope to our students when we return to school.  Our third grade teachers will also be adding a bed of sunflowers from their spring seed project.  It will be wonderful to return to school and see our courtyard in full bloom!

Have a safe and happy week,

Mrs. DeGrenier
Principal
