A message from Mrs. Madden and Gianna

With all of the changes in our lives and the disappointments we have been facing lately, kindness is needed more than ever.  This week's lesson is about how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in people's lives.  All of the weekly video lessons, along with several related activities, can be found on our remote learning website under the Social/Emotional tab (Weekly Lessons).

Parent/Teacher Conferences

‘Optional’ parent/teacher conferences will be held virtually the week of June 1st-5th.  If you would like to conference with your child’s teacher, please email the teacher and they will set up a mutually agreed upon time with you to hold a 10"-15” conference by phone or zoom during the week of first week of June.

Sunflowers and Pumpkins

Last call for seeds... there is a bag hanging next to the front door at Center if any student wishes to take seeds for planting sunflowers and pumpkins. Please help yourself!

Student Items

We are working on times for students to come to Center School and pick-up items from their desks/lockers.  Teachers have been coming to school  small numbers to bag the items and label them with the student's name.  We will distribute belongings via the car line behind Center School.  Teachers very much want to have a chance to say hello/good-bye to their students and plan to be present to pass off the items.  This is our version of 'curbside' pick-up with a personal touch.  The following dates are tentatively set aside and we will send you a notice with the pick-up times for your class so you know when your teacher will be present.  There will also be an alternative late afternoon/early evening pick-up time for those who need it.

  • Grade 4 Wednesday June 10th - Morning
  • Grade 3 Friday June 12th - Morning
  • Grade 2 Friday June 12th - Early afternoon
  • Grades 2-4, Monday June 15th, 4:00-6:00 PM
