Center School News and Updates 10/29/21

I hope this message finds you all powered up, safe, and warm. It has been a tumultuous few days between the weather and power outages. As we look ahead to next week, we wanted to provide some helpful updates.

Students are invited to wear their costumes to school on Monday, November 1^st.  Make-up, wigs, and costumes are welcome. If you prefer to leave your costume at home, join us for some orange and black spirit wear. *We ask that masks and accessories be left at home. Activities planned at grade levels and in classrooms are rescheduled to Monday, November 1, 2021, as well. If you have a question about a classroom activity, please reach out to your homeroom teacher.

The book fair was scheduled to begin on Wednesday.  Due to the storm, our delivery and set-up have been delayed by a few days. We have adjusted our schedule accordingly so that the book fair will go forward next week as planned. The book fair will open on Thursday, November 4^th, and close on Tuesday morning, November 9^th. Each grade has been assigned a day and parents are welcome to join their child to shop at the book fair. A schedule of when your child's class is attending the book fair will come be sent out shortly. This is strictly optional and there will be volunteers and teachers present to assist students with their shopping as needed. Reminder: you can also shop online!

• Tuesday, November 8^th - Book Fair open from 8:30 am to 11:00 am for any last-minute purchases.
