Center School News and Updates 10/3/22

Last Thursday (September 30^th) students brought home their Lifetouch pictures. If you wish to order pictures there is information in the envelope to help you place your order. Picture retakes will be November 1^st. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to Mrs. Pellegrino (dpellegrino@hanoverschools.org) in the office and she will be happy to assist you.

Classroom teachers posted a sign-up genius form to all families so that you can sign up for parent/teacher conferences. If you did not receive the link, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher for assistance.

Early Release Dates

So that you can plan for the month of October, these are the early release days for this month:

• Tuesday, October 4^th - Early release 1:00 pm
• Tuesday, October 18^th - Early release 1:00 pm
• Thursday, October 20^th - Early release 1:00 pm 

Health Office Update

A message from Center School Health Office

The annual health screenings will take place beginning in October 2022. The following screenings will take place at Center School on October 3-7, 2022:

• Height and Weight: Grade 4
• Hearing Screenings: Grades 2 and 3
• Vision Screenings: Grades 2, 3 and 4

Please join the Hanover Special Education Parent Advisory Council on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, for an in-person discussion with Superintendent Matt Ferron, Director of Student Services, Mike Oates, as well as principals and team representatives from each school. Learn about district-wide special education initiatives as well as building specific programs. The meeting will take place at Hanover High School, located at 287 Cedar Street.
