Center School News and Updates 12/12/22

The first term ended on Monday. Teachers are preparing report cards and IEP progress notes to share with you on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Students have worked very hard during the first sixty days of school and are learning a great deal in our new literacy program, WONDERS. The amount of reading and writing they are doing each week is amazing and I am excited to see their progress in term I. Benchmark assessments for the winter are done in January and results will be posted in the Aspen Family Portal. If you have not checked your portal recently, please do. This is where all report cards, assessment results, and other important information is posted for your child.

We are very excited to share with you our plans for starting a partnership with Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset. They will be working with us to expand our gardens both in the courtyard and along the back of the school. All grades will be participating in planting this year. We will be looking for volunteers to help us build the additional garden beds and I will be sending out more information after the first of the year!
