Center School News and Updates 2/6/23

We are preparing for a busy spring showcasing student work in the arts. Please be sure to review the important dates below as we have added a number of events to be held in person this spring. We can’t wait for you to see what we are learning in Music, Art, IT, and Wellness in addition to all of the ongoing work in reading, writing, and math.

Thank you to Mrs. Wilson and our fourth graders who participated in the music fundraiser. Bravo on your performance and thank you for your efforts in raising funds for the music department! We are pleased to have several graduate students completing their programs at Center School this spring. Please welcome Mary Nevins, Education major in Mrs. Kearn’s class, Mikayla Matheson, Special Education major in Mr. Schreiber and Ms. Barlits’ classes, and Alyssa Frates, Speech/Language Pathology major who is working with Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Miller in all grades.

The window for administering MCAS this year will be from March 27^th through April 28^th for ELA and April 24^th to May 26^th for Math. Details on MCAS dates specific to Center School will be posted later this month.
