Center School News and Updates 3/19/23

Congratulations to Mrs. Wilson and all of our third-grade classes. They did a great job performing their pirate musical last week for parents and second graders! We appreciated them doing an additional performance so that all of our fourth-grade students could attend and enjoy the show!

Spring arrives this week, and with it comes a busy time of year with many events for all our students. This week we have our second-grade art show, our first planting with Holly Hill Farm for grade 4, and several district events. Several notices are attached, so please open them for all the details.

Two of our former Center School students, Lydia McLean and Avery Porro, are involved in Project 351 and will run a clothing drive for the remainder of this month. Project 351 is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the youth of Massachusetts become leaders through kindness, compassion, humility, and gratitude. This movement has directly impacted over one million people and helped the adults of the future step up and make a change. Partnered with 351 is Cradles to Crayons. This organization works to help end clothing insecurity among children from 0 months to 12 years old. Making it possible for their families not to have to worry about choosing between new clothes and paying the bills. A collection bin is set up in the Center lobby, and we ask that you please consider donating new or gently used clothing to support these students and this worthy cause.

Have a great week,

Mrs. DeGrenier
Principal
