Center School News and Updates 3/6/23

On Friday, March 3, we held our March Community Meeting which featured a discussion on bike safety. Officer John and Mr. Wilson let the discussion and shared a short video put out by the Department of Transportation on bicycle safety. This particular community meeting also gave us an opportunity to recognize Officer John for National Resource Officer Day (February 15^th). Students shared cards, letters, messages, and a lovely gift basket of Hanover favorites was presented by the faculty. Thank you, Officer John! We appreciate all you do to keep our students, our schools, and our community safe!  

Our Science Fair was held last Tuesday and Thursday. We had over 120+ students from grades 2 through 4 participate in the science fair this year. It was so good to see students presenting their projects in person and sharing their hard work with family and friends. We were very impressed with the research, data collection, and process that each student shared on those evenings. BRAVO! A special thanks to Mrs. McCarthy who organized the event along with parent volunteers; Mrs. Galvin, Mrs. Chiasson, Mrs. Miraglia, Mrs. Jorgenson, Mrs.DeWitt, Mrs. Bagshaw, Mrs. Snee, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Banks, and Mrs. Dooley. We couldn’t have had a science fair without you!
