Center School Representative Nominations for School Council 9/8/23
As we begin the new school year, Center School, in collaboration with the Center PTA, is in need of two parent/guardian representatives for our School Council. The term is for two years, and meetings are held six times a year and more if needed. Meetings will be held in person at Center School in the conference room on the following Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15 pm: September 27th, October 25th, December 6th, February 7th, March 27th, and May 22nd.
Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L. c.71, s.59C) states that: “The school council shall meet regularly with the principal of the school and shall assist in the identification of the educational needs of students within the school, in the review of the annual school budget, and in the formulation of a school improvement plan.”
If you are interested in joining the school council, please complete and submit the following School Council Nomination 2023 form.
If we have more than two volunteers, an election will be held to fill the vacancy and your response to the nomination form will be used as your profile for the election ballot.
