Center School Teacher Appreciation Week 4/26/23
Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated Nationally from May 8th to May 12th. We will be adjusting our timeline slightly and celebrating May 5th through May 12th. During Teacher Appreciation Week, we will highlight the hard work and impact teachers have on our students and how they inspire and guide them to become future leaders, innovators, problem solvers, and open their eyes beyond academics. Teachers are the ones who help instill values, character, and empower our students to pursue their dreams and make a positive difference in the world. Many of us can think of a teacher, paraprofessional, nurse, reading teacher, special educator, librarian, art, music, or PE teacher that made an impact on us in our education. That person may not even realize the small act or kind words they said and how they influenced our lives. Teacher Appreciation Week is the perfect time to let them know by sharing a note of thanks to an educator who made a difference in your life or the life of your child(ren).
Another way you can show your appreciation for teachers is to use your social media to post #ThankATeacher during the week of May 8-12, 2023.
The PTA will be providing some treats during the week to say "thank you" to our teaching staff. If you would like to donate to support their efforts (any amount is greatly appreciated), please log on to hanoverpta.org, go to the Center School tab, and Staff Appreciation will drop down to make your donation.
Together, we can make our teachers feel special and show them our support during Teacher Appreciation Week.
