Halloween

We are planning for Halloween at the end of the month and thought early communication would be appreciated. Halloween is a favorite amongst our students and many staff so we are inviting all of our students and staff in grades 2-4 to 'dress up' on Halloween. We welcome orange and black day, costumes, crazy hair, hats. Whatever way your child will enjoy celebrating Halloween is welcome for our school day on Thursday, October 31, 2019. We ask that you limit the face paint to a minimum and that props be left at home. I know that Halloween is an expense and the 'big event' is at night so I am leaving it up to individual parents to determine the extent to which they wish to costume for the day!

Students are asked to wear their costumes to school to limit the need for changing during the day. We do ask that those students who will be attending F.A.C.E. bring a change of clothes and put costumes away for their F.A.C.E. day.

A gentle reminder that we follow a safe school plan for any events involving food and we ask that parents communicate with the teacher and school nurse before sending any food items into class. Thank you for your support.

Classroom teachers will communicate with you directly regarding any plans taking place in the classroom or at the grade level.

Have a 'spooktacular' day!
