Hanover Middle School Information for Students Entering 5th Grade 5/16/23
My name is Daniel Birolini and I am the Principal of Hanover Middle School. It is with great excitement that I welcome the parents/guardians of next year’s 5th grade class. This is the time of year when 4th grade students and their parents/guardians begin to think about the transition to Middle School. Please let me start by saying that we have a talented staff who are phenomenal at welcoming the incoming 5th graders to the Middle School each fall. Most importantly, the students really enjoy their time and the many great experiences here at HMS.
Over the next month, we will meet with the teachers and staff of Center School, review the information provided by you, and begin the scheduling process for the incoming 5th grade. We would like to invite the parents and guardians of current 4th graders to our Middle School Information Night on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 5:30 pm. This is a night to learn about how the Middle School works and allow families a chance to meet our administration.
Your students will be coming up for a tour of the Middle School and to meet the administration on June 1st or June 2nd. We will also have a student orientation and tour for all students in August and an additional parent/guardian night. We will share these dates with families as soon as they are scheduled.
