Hanover PTA One-Time Donation 9/20/23
We hope this letter finds you in good health, high spirits, and ready for a wonderful new school year! At the Hanover Parent Teacher Alliance (HPTA), our commitment to fostering a vibrant and enriching educational environment for our students remains unwavering. As we enter this new school year, we are excited to share that we have a new board and some new ideas for fundraising this year!
As we kick off our efforts, we are excited to introduce our upcoming one-time donation campaign, and we invite you to support this important cause. Your donation will directly contribute to enhancing the educational experiences of our students, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. We understand that there are many demands on your time and resources, and we greatly appreciate your willingness to contribute. Our suggested donation for this campaign is $30 per family, but accompany this suggestion with the ask that families contribute what they can. Every contribution, regardless of its size, plays an essential role in helping us achieve our goals.
We would like to emphasize that this one-time donation campaign is distinct from our other fundraising initiatives throughout the year, as the funds from the campaign go directly to the school you choose!
We have limited opportunities for donations throughout the year, which include:
- Community Fundraisers and Social Activities: Look out for our "spirit nights" where local businesses generously donate a portion of their proceeds to our schools. It's a fun way to support our community while contributing to a great cause. We are also planning several opportunities for social activities to allow for parents to connect and socialize with one another outside of the classroom.
- Elementary School Fun Run: Our much-anticipated annual Fun Run, held at Cedar and Center Schools, provides an opportunity for students to actively participate in fundraising. It's an event filled with energy, camaraderie, and healthy competition.
- Your support allows us to fund projects such as guest speakers, graduation celebrations, field days, student incentives, and so much more, all of which directly benefit our students' in-school experiences. We are committed to utilizing every donation responsibly and transparently to create a positive impact on our schools.
