Hanover Middle School 8th Grade Field Activities Volunteer Information and Registration 6/1/23
On Monday, June 12, 2023, the 8th grade will have a fun outdoor field event with yard games and a yearbook signing. The students will come outside right after lunch from approximately 12:25 pm to 2:00 pm.
Volunteer Information
The HPTA is looking for a few volunteers to assist with the supervision of games and clean up after the event.
- Supervision of Inflatable Axe Throwing and Gaga Pit
- Assistance at/Supervision of Yard Games (Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Yard Pong)
- Clean-up after the event
With your help, we can make this a great event for the students! Volunteers must be available from 12:15 pm until 2:30 pm.
In an effort to afford as many families as possible the opportunity to participate in this event, only one volunteer per family for this event.
CORI
A current CORI is required to volunteer for this event. Please login to the Aspen Portal to be sure you have a current CORI before signing up on the link. Any volunteers with expired CORIs will be removed, and the spot reassigned to someone with a current CORI.
To check your CORI status, follow these steps:
- Log in to Apsen
- Click Family
- Click Contacts
- Check the CORI Expiration column for the date
- To update your CORI, please see the office staff at HMS. Note: Due to a Town of Hanover change in processing CORIs, there is no guarantee new applications will clear in time for this event. CORIs are processed in bulk in the fall. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to be sure they have a current CORI or at least a submitted application for future opportunities.
