Hanover Middle School Conferences and Upcoming Events 2/14/24

It is a busy time of year at Hanover Middle School. Last week, we had a wonderful social for our fifth and sixth graders and a fabulous dance for our seventh and eighth graders. Thank you to all of the parent/guardian volunteers and our HMS Student Council who made these events possible!

Wednesday, February 14^th

• Conference Sign up (Please see below), 6:00 pm

Thursday, February 15^th  

• Spirit Day and Student-Teacher Swap Day: Moved from our recent snow day to Thursday; Students dress as teachers, and teachers dress as students.
• Cyber Sense Presentation by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office 
  • Grades 7 and 8, 8:30-9:15 am
  • Grades 5 and 6, 9:25-10:10 am
• Science Fair Meeting in HMS Library, 2:15-3:00 pm

Friday, February 16^th

• Spirit Day, Pajama Day
• Spelling Bee, 8:30 am

Conferences

This evening, we will be making our Halix Conference Scheduler available at 6:00 pm to book conferences for the evening of February 29^th or on the afternoons of March 1^st or 5^th. Conference sign-ups will open at 6:00 pm tonight. Please utilize the link below to sign up. If you forgot your Halix password, just use the "forgot password" feature and you will be easily directed to schedule your conferences (see the attachment for help and guidance).

​​It is important that we offer a conference to all parents and guardians; however, the schedules fill up quickly. If you are unable to schedule a conference due to unavailability, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher in grades 5 and 6 or the teachers in grades 7 and 8 that you wish to meet with. Our staff will make it a priority to schedule a time for your child. If you have any other challenges with scheduling a conference, such as technology issues, please call our main office at 781-871-1122 or contact me directly at dbirolini@hanoverschools.org.
