Hanover Middle School Grade 8 Dance and Promotion Ceremony 6/13/23

It is hard to believe that our 8th grade student's middle school career is ending. I would like to start by saying how impressed I was with your 8th graders last week. Whether they were in Washington D.C. or in Hanover, they were positive, respectful, and kind ambassadors of Hanover.

Thank you to our HPTA,  we had a small field day for our 8th graders yesterday afternoon, and it was awesome.

Tomorrow on June 14th, we have our Dinner Dance Celebration and we are watching the weather closely. The plan is to have the dance in the front of the building with games, dancing, and dinner. If the forecast is for rain, we will move inside the cafeteria.

Promotion Ceremony

This Thursday, June 15th, we will be having our promotion ceremony in the gymnasium at 11:30 am. This ceremony has a couple of speeches, a few historical awards, and student acknowledgments. Students will receive their certificates of completion. We anticipate it running around an hour and a half. We have 220 students! All family and friends are welcome.

The students will exit the gymnasium and proceed to the grassy area in front of the school for pictures, say their goodbyes, and greet their parents and families.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
