Hanover Middle School Grade 8 High School Course Registration 3/18/24

Register for Hanover High School Elective Courses

On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Class of 2028 will be able to log into their student Aspen accounts to register for high school elective courses. Please view the Hanover High School Program of Studies and Course Registration Instructions. The Program of Studies provides detailed information on our graduation requirements, and school policies; for our present purposes, it includes descriptions for every course offered at HHS.

The Hanover High School guidance department will be visiting the middle school on Thursday morning, March 21, 2024, to present course registration to all grade 8 students. In addition, high school elective teachers will be sharing information about their courses and curriculum to help students make an educated decision.

Students will be registering for their elective courses online in Aspen in their student accounts. Within each Aspen account, teachers have made recommendations regarding course levels for next year. These recommendations are based on a student's performance, benchmark exam results, observed potential, and work ethic, etc. Students will be placed in the level they are recommended for. To pursue a higher level, please see the Course Registration Instructions.

Students have until  April 17, 2024, to register for their choice of electives. Students are encouraged to register earlier rather than later. Please see the attached instructions on how to register for classes in the student Aspen account.

The Guidance and Counseling department has been working hard to start academic, college and career counseling as early as possible in an effort to best prepare students for their futures; to that end, Guidance has created a Google Classroom page for each class year, and they encourage all students to join their respective classroom page. For the Class of 2028, you may join the Class of 2028 Google ClassroomWe’re continuously posting information on course registration, college and career planning, and all other important student academic information.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the Hanover Middle School Guidance Department.
