Washington D.C. Trip Update
Happy Day 3! We had a wonderful day yesterday. Our students were able to tour Mount Vernon, the Mansion, the Museum, and George Washington’s final resting place. We had lunch on the lawn outside of the African American History Museum and had the opportunity to tour the 8 amazing floors. Our students were able to finish the afternoon off with a tour of the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. The views of Washington and the Potomac River from the rooftop were amazing. The day ended with dinner and games at Dave and Busters. It was our first time having dinner there, and it was a hit. Your kids were amazing.
Today we have a jam-packed itinerary with a tour of the Capitol Grounds, the Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean War, World War II, Washington Memorials, the Holocaust Museum, and the Air and Space Museum. It is going to be a day full of experiences!
