School News 11/1/18

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers that made Harvest Fest and Harvest Jam such a wonderful event.  It is such a special experience for our students and community.

We are looking forward to Teacher/Parent conferences this evening, tomorrow afternoon (half day-12:15 dismissal), and Tuesday afternoon (no school for Hanover students).  During conferences, our administrative team will be in the main lobby to help direct parents, answer questions, and listen to concerns.

The Book Fair is back!  The HMS book fair begins today, November 1ST , until November 9th in our main lobby.

Hanover Middle School is conducting a book drive to support our Read 2700 initiative.  If you have any gently used books that could use a loving new reader, please consider donating them to our schools.  We will have a drop area for books in the main lobby.  Please see attached flyer for more info.  WE DO NOT WANT PARENTS AND FAMILIES BUYING FROM THE BOOK FAIR TO DONATE TO OUR BOOK DRIVE.

The HMS Veteran’s Day observance and ceremony is on Friday, November 9th at 8:30 AM. This event has been organized by the HMS Be Better Group and would like to invite all Veterans from the HMS community to attend.  Please RSVP Mr. Barrett at jbarrett@hanoverschools.org. Just a reminder, that there is no school on the 12th of November.

The HMS Turkey Trot is also coming up on November 21st.  Please stay tuned for more information.

I look forward seeing you all at conferences.  Have a great weekend!

Daniel Birolini
Principal
