Center School Grade 4 MCAS Results 10/12/23

The MCAS results from the assessments students took in the spring of grade three were mailed to families on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. If you do not receive your results by Friday or Saturday at the latest, please contact Mrs. Prandato in the Center School main office at 781-826-2631.

MCAS is one snapshot of how students are performing in reading, writing, and math and should not be used as the sole measure of student progress in school. Teachers provide ongoing assessments in all areas and are regularly monitoring student progress on all academic standards. In addition to individual results, MCAS scores help us to determine areas of focus for our school to improve curriculum and instruction for all students. If you have questions or concerns about your child's MCAS scores or their current performance in school, please reach out to your child's teacher to have a discussion about your concerns.  

Attached is a sample of the report you will receive in the mailing describing each of the reporting categories and how to interpret the results. Questions related to the MCAS report can be directed to the classroom teacher, Mr. Wilson, or myself.
